verse: Harusame ni nihoheru iro mo akanakuni kasa e natsukashi yamabuki no hana
(imho): In spring rain, not get bored with the beautiful blooming color, i miss even the scent, kerria blossoms.

A verse in “Kokinn waka shu” is said to have some meanings.
Although people of the day must be able to understand these meanings easily, it is just like a puzzle for us in present. That is why, i stand ready for another meanings for a verse in “Kokinn waka shu“.

This verse may have a meaning of not only love the gold blossoms but also instinctive romance. i get a flavor of what human beings might be..
There is no dougt that it has second-guess because Mr. Ki, Tsurayuki bothered to choose this verse for “Kokinn waka shu“.
