The “Okuno-hoso-michi” is famouse correction of verses and travelogue in Japan.
When Mr. Basho set out in the long journey and he broke up with people of the send-off at Senju, he created this verse, for that pain of leaving spring and the people.
Although leaving is pain indeed, leaving is new start line of life.
Actually, i gave my student this work as a graduation celebration present.
Her name is contained in this verse. I belive she will leave big footprints like Mr. Basho.
