Decorate a work
When a artwork is displayed on wall etc., it is always made with frame or hanging scroll.
This process is called “dressing”.
A work improve a whole a lot by good dressing.
Especially in case of “kana-sho” work, it has are a lot of elements such as color and pattern of “ryo-shi” (special Japanese paper) and color of “sumi” (cake ink). Therefore harmonious dressing is requiered.
i usually request a dressing to professional picture framer. High sense picture framer makes my work beyond my real strength.
