What verse?

verse: Wakeiri te, dare ka ha hito no, tadunu beki, iwa kage kusa no, shigeru yamadi wo
(imho): Will someone climb over the rocks and cut through the grass and seek me out and ask me? That could never happen.
poet: Saigyo
in: 1190?

Note

The “hito” which means someone must be Saigyo himself. He liveed alone and quietly in a mountain village “yamazato”, and had no friends to talk to. I wonder if he once in a while looked objectively at himself enduring the loneliness and decided to compose this poem with self-mockery and love for him.
