brief comment
This is the second time to write this poem.
This time, I adopted a vertical composition inspired by the image of flying geese. I aimed for a flow of characters that seems to ascend into the sky—echoing the motion of geese soaring high above.
I also deliberately chose a monochrome sheet of paper. I hoped the brushstrokes, with their varying shades and the surrounding blank space, would evoke the soft light of spring haze and the quiet silhouettes of geese fading into the distance. Precisely because the paper lacks color, the nuances of the ink can reveal a richer expression—this dialogue with the paper is one of the pleasures of creating this piece.
I would be happy if the viewer could feel a quiet, contemplative spirit that gazes far into the distance, along with the changing of the seasons.
